“Thanks so much for delivering our keynote address last week to open the 84th Annual Meeting of the West Virginia Credit Union League. It was the first time in our long history that we didn’t hold the meeting in-person and it was our first venture into the world of virtual meetings. A lot was riding on the opening presentation and we couldn’t be happier with the message you delivered.
Not only was your story captivating, it was truly an inspirational message that resonated with all of our folks. Immediately after the meeting and continuing a week later, we’re hearing compliment after compliment on your remarks. One CEO shared this with me: “I was inspired by Dave Sanderson’s presentation and his recollection of his Mom’s words that propelled him in that moment and throughout his life. It resonated with me because my Dad never allowed my sister or I to say ‘Life’s not fair’. His response was yes, you are correct life’s not fair so what are you going to do to make the situation better.” Many very similar responses have been received.
It was a real pleasure working with you. No doubt you’ve delivered a similar message many times since that fateful day in 2009, yet your message was fresh and moving as if it had just occurred. Thank you for doing such a professional job for us.”
Ken – West Virginia Credit Union League
“We were talking about your presentation. We both were very impressed. We bring in many speakers to our conferences, and both of us felt like yours was well put together, delivered very effectively, and the content was valuable to our members. We could tell that much thought was given to each aspect. I felt the way you delivered it by standing up to give the first part, and then sitting down with your jacket off in the second half was very effective. It felt like you were simply sitting across the table from us. Also, some of your points were familiar, but packaged in a unique way. That was helpful. One in particular that comes to mind was the idea of reframing your perception of an event. I’m going to take that concept with me.”
Marie – Association Executive, Oregon Association Chiefs of Police
“Dave Sanderson was the perfect addition to our end of year celebration. He was very engaging and an inspiration to everyone. He reminded us all that we have it within ourselves to do great things. Thank you for taking the time to speak to us.”
