Greg Horvath
Ordinary Person Achieving Extraordinary Results Against Incredible Odds.
Greg Horvath is an example of an average person doing exceptional things against all odds and that’s what makes him a high-caliber motivational speaker, author, and producer.
His story starts with a missed dream. He wanted to play college football but instead made bad choices like dropping out of high school and turning to alcohol. He made positive changes in 1990 and had an award-winning real estate career but always regretted that his mistakes caused him to fall out of his dream of college football.
He was accepted at Saddleback College in California in 2000 at age 38 and was allowed to try out for the team. He made the team, was named “Most Inspirational Player” for that season, and made the President’s Honor List for maintaining a 4. 0 GPA. His story was aired in Canada and was considered for a 2002 Gemini Award.
He speaks as an expert in the field of recovery, interventionist, and sober coach. He is involved with counseling for the National Hockey League and Major League Soccer. He also is the co-creator and co-host of Let’s Talk Recovery Radio Show in Los Angeles.
Greg is also an award-winning filmmaker after discovering that art in college. He has made three feature films. His second film Unfinished Business was considered for a Canadian Gemini Award. His first film Hope for the Broken Contender won the American Express People’s Choice Award at the Calgary International Film Festival. His third film is The Business of Recovery.
Greg is one of the most sought-after speakers in North America because of his ability to empower others with his charisma. He shares his story with passion and makes others feel they can succeed at anything they desire.
