Mountain Climber Motivational Speaker, Known As “The World’S Best Adventure Speaker”.

John Amatt is the perfect speaker to guide a team through the constantly changing and often tumultuous global economic environment. He was the leader of an Everest team that suffered four tragic deaths in two unpredictable accidents. His team ended with six climbers making it to the top of the world.

John tells audiences how the experience taught him of the dangers of falling into complacency and why you should always question the status quo. It also taught him to seek new paths in changing environments.

John, a native of Great Britain and a long-time resident of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, is well known in the international mountaineering community for being the first to climb the 5,000-foot Vertical Mile Troll wall in Norway, which is Europe’s steepest and highest mountain face. He led early climbing expeditions to Western China, which included both camels and skis.

He is also the founder of the Banff Mountain Film Festival, which is recognized as the world’s premiere showcase of adventure documentary films. His adventures are chronically in his autobiography, straight to the Top and Beyond. He used his adventures to create a nine-step approach to scaling today’s business environments and that is the focus of his presentations.
