Martin’s musical education is extensive. He studied piano and composition at the Conservatory of Prague before touring Europe as part of trio. He also spent two years at the Academy of Music and toured with the Prague Big Band. He earned a Licentiate diploma from Trinity College of Music in London.

His stage act includes both music and comedy and revolves around his incomprehension of the English language found in Canada. He performs in a tuxedo and uses either a grand or a baby grand piano for his performances to add extra detailing.
