Talk show host John Gormley is a popular keynote speaker on topics from pop culture to politics. He hosts Saskatchewan’s top-rated radio talk show, heard weekday mornings on CKOM Saskatoon and CJME Regina.
John is a former Member of Parliament and was recognized several years ago by Saskatchewan Business Magazine as one of the province’s most influential people.
As a lawyer, he has been named Queen’s Counsel, John has also been on Saskatchewan Business Magazine’s list of the province’s 10 Most Influential People.
John has written two books. His first, “Left Out: Saskatchewan’s NDP and the Relentless Pursuit of Mediocrity” is a Canadian bestseller. His second book “The Gormley Papers: I’m Right and You Know It” is a compilation of newspaper columns touching on everything from current issues to living a better life.
John has lectured in political science at the University of Saskatchewan and has been a sessional lecturer in the College of Law.
He is involved in a number of charitable efforts involving mental health and men’s health.
