Marty started his career as an entrepreneur at age 20. When friends were trying to get a job, Marty was trying to make payroll and expand a company. Being everything from the office weekend cleaner to the President of a company has given Marty great perspective on building a great company but more importantly on building a great life.
Moving from technology into business coaching 10 years ago, Marty has been awarded the Business Coach of the Year for Canada and North America. He is recognized internationally for his work developing both business coaches and their practices around the world. In addition to international recognition, Marty was selected as one of Calgary’s Top 40 Business Professionals under 40 in 2004 by Calgary Inc. magazine. He was recognized as the Canadian Youth Business Foundation: Mentor of the Year in 2005.
The co-owner and operator of 11 businesses ranging from franchises, to restaurants to technology, Marty is still practicing what he professes. He continues to grow his portfolio of companies while helping others build theirs. Marty’s real pride comes from balancing work with his hobbies which include travel, family time, piano lessons, cooking, learning Spanish, billiards, waterskiing, snow skiing, volleyball, scuba diving, surfing, boating, reading, fine wine, movies … you get the idea.
