Sylvain Larocque, a stand-up comedian, and author, participated in more than 20 performances of the Just for Laughs Festivals and 12 performances of the Just for Laughs Festival. He has also performed in television galas, solo shows, and as a script editor or director of galas. he’s hosted Grand Rire galas for vie years and has participated in Comedi-Ha galas.
A bilingual comedian from Montreal, Sylvain performed across Canada using the Molière and Shakespeare. He won seven Olivers, including six for Author of the Year and one for Show of the Year. He’s been working with humor for almost 30 years.
He has been featured for seven years at the Montreal International Just for Laughs and Juste pour Rire comedy festivals. Shows included The Montreal Show, Comedy Night in Canada, Bubbling with Laughter, and televised Galas at the St-Denis Theater. He’s also been in shows with bands like The Crash Test Dummies and Barenaked Ladies.
