Dave Hemstad is a hot comedy talent in Canada who began performing on television in 2002. He’s spent a lot of time doing stand-up since then, delighting audiences across the country in comedy clubs, at festivals, and at corporate or charity events.
A three-time Canadian Comedy Award nominee, Dave had his own half-hour Comedy Now special on CTV and has performed at two galas for the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal. He has also taped multiple performances at the Halifax and Winnipeg Comedy Festival on CBC. He also has acting credits including starring in the Showcase comedy series Almost Heroes. He is currently a regular on The Debaters on CBC and a contributing writer on Still Standing.
