There won’t be a guest in the house who won’t recognize Colin for his time performing on the British and American versions of the improvisational television show, Whose Line Is It Anyways? The show, lauded for its irreverence and hilarity, consists of a panel of 4 comedians who engage in theatre sports that rely heavily on audience participation. He first appeared on the show in 1988, when it was aired on the BBC with host Clive Anderson. During his 8 years on the show, Colin starred with other legendary comics like Eddie Izzard, Stephen Fry, Greg Proops, and Ryan Stiles.
It was with Ryan Stiles that he starred in the American adaptation of the show in 1998 on ABC. With Wayne Brady and host Drew Carey, Colin impressed and amused millions of ABC viewers with his on-screen antics. Though it was cancelled in 2007, it returned to American television in 2003 with host Aisha Tyler. Once again, Colin is one of the long running stars of this revival.
