We recently hired comedian Scott Dumas to perform and act as Master of Ceremonies at our 25th Annual Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce Business Awards Gala. The event was a semi-formal affair attended by 250 local business people from our area. Scott arrived promptly as promised and after a short explanation of what was expected in his capacity as MC, he launched into his comedy routine. I am pleased to report that he did a tasteful job on both counts. His routine had everyone in stitches. When I wasn't dabbing the tears from my eyes, my job as chairperson had me intently watching the crowd for their reaction. Everywhere I looked I saw people roaring with laughter.
