Experience of Howie Miller

Howie Miller has performed throughout North America as one of the few Indigenous comedians. He’s traveled to New York, Los Angeles and performed at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. Howie has toured the UK and Europe and had a half-hour special Comedy Now Presents Howie Miller. He was featured in The Indian Comedy Slam, No Reservations Needed that currently airs on Showtime.

He has been on television many times including the Winnipeg Comedy Festival: Welcome to Turtle Island 1 & 2, CBC’s Alberta Comedy Spectacular and The Debaters.

Howie is a First Nation descendent of the Cree Nation and was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

His stand-up act including stories about his son, the relationship between Aboriginals and non-Aboriginals, and everyday life.
