Mike Staver & His Perspective On Leadership
Leadership has nothing to do with your rank, your position, how smart you are, how much money you make. Leadership has to do with, the extent to which you can persevere under significant and challenging experiences. Saying yes to things that make you better, make you feel better, encourage you and empower you to make stronger decisions, all in alignment with your core values.
If you are going to pursue a life of purpose and influence which is what leadership is, you have to be able to look life in the eyes, and not judge, the second thing is it take action & responsibility. We live in a world of people who don’t want to take responsibility, we live in a culture of blame and lack of responsibility. A culture of responsibility repairs relationships, repairs who you are, & repairs connections.
It’s much better to live in a world, and work for a company, and be a person who’s all about personal responsibility, and own what’s yours.
