"Endearing, Topical, and very funny. That is Kenny Shaw in a nutshell! We first hired Kenny to MC Countryfest in Dauphin over two decades ago and he has worked the crowds every year since then. He ranges from the cool to the manic in a twinkling of an eye (usually his) and always with a warm chuckle.
Kenny is the consummate professional; always on time and on cue. Ours is a big four day festival and Kenny is out there every day, all day, and he introduces artists, contest winners, talks up sponsors, shoots their t-shirts into the crowd with his homemade air bazooka, plays guitar and sings goofy songs, and keeps up a steady patter, poking fun at politicians, music history, pop icons, all while imitating a wide range of celebs and doing the weather report. Oh, and I should mention he also does his own kids show on Saturday morning. As you can imagine, we have formed a very warm relationship with Kenny over the years and we count on him to be an on stage link to the crowd, and the patrons expect him back every year. I highly recommend you make Kenny part of your event!" Eric Irwin, President Dauphin's Countryfest, Mayor, City of Dauphin
"One of the best acts I've seen in years. Totally relaxed, great banter, brilliant complimentary musicianship - a great package well in tune with their audience - and they are totally Alberta." Sean Buckley, Artistic Director of "Celtic Folk"
"Martin Janovsky was fabulous! His music talent and versatility was a delight. Our volunteers deserved the best and I believe Martin Janovsky gave us his best! The volunteers gave Martin a standing ovation." Ste Rose General Hospital
"Tom Liske was hilarious! He kept the audience of men and women (and most of them seniors) laughing throughout his performance. His stories and songs resonated with the audience and were not vulgar. The organizers found him to be friendly and accommodating - very easy to work with. We highly recommend Tom for adult community events." The Willowbrook Community Centre
