Acclaimed motivational speaker Dave Carey inspires audiences to draw from the power of the human spirit to overcome adversity. He understands the concept well as he was a POW for five and a half years.

Dave is also a coach, consultant and author who customizes programs to address specific challenges each organization faces. He is authentic and entertaining.

He has been a well-known speaker for 20 years with clients like IBM, Merck, 3M, and Apple.

Dave was a carrier-based pilot in the Vietnam War. His plane was shot down and he became a POW in Hanoi. His military honors are the Legion of Merit, five Bronze Stars, two Meritorious Service Medals, the Purple Heart, eight Air Medals, and the Navy Commendation Medal.

He was a commanding officer after returning from Vietnam, including being the Director of the Navy’s Leadership and Management Training program. He retired from the Navy with the rank of Captain.

Dave can also provide high-quality live interactive video presentations for both small and large groups.
